Dynamic Planner adds new Consumer Duty support

17 May 2023

Dynamic Planner has launched new Consumer Duty support to help advice firms ahead of the looming implementation date.

The risk-based financial planning system has produced a free guide which looks at how technology can overcome the challenges thrown up by the Consumer Duty.

In addition, the firm has also announced dates for its Consumer Duty Roadshow taking place in London and Manchester in June and a series of Consumer-Duty focused training academies taking place in Nottingham, Milton Keynes and Colchester, across 16-18 May.

Yasmina Siadatan, sales and marketing director at Dynamic Planner, said: “The countdown to implementing Consumer Duty is well underway. We believe that technology is the key to overcoming the perceived challenges associated with what may feel like a very daunting prospect. We are committed to helping our clients wherever possible and providing them with all the support they need.”

Dynamic Planner said its technology can help advisers identify target markets, defined by factors including age, wealth, risk and sustainability profile and document positive and negative criteria. In addition, investment solutions can be researched and recommended  in line with target market needs, enabling firms to demonstrate the controls in place to avoid harm and allow clients to pursue their financial objectives.

Finally, advisers can use technology to understand and support their clients by using Dynamic Planner’s client profiling process, the group said.
