Contengo goes live on Origo Integration Hub for valuations and transaction history

11 September 2023

Wealthtech company Contengo is now live on the Origo Integration Hub, for bulk valuations and bulk transaction history, with the onboarding process from contract to live taking less than a month.

Contengo was immediately connected for bulk valuations to Aegon Platform, Aegon ARC, LGT, Scottish Widows Platform, Aviva and M&G (Pru) and for bulk transaction history to Aegon Platform, Aegon ARC, Scottish Widows Platform and Aviva.

Matt Noble, head of business development at Origo, said: “The speed with which Contengo was onboarded, from contract through scope, build and going live with six other users in less than a month clearly demonstrates the success of the service and is testament to the work of the Origo team that has developed the Hub to where it is today.

“Other providers can now see how quickly and efficiently we can onboard them and get them using the key services the Hub provides.”

Noble said its aim is to deliver a centralised system that makes it easier for providers, platform and adviser software companies to integrate and achieve efficiencies and cost savings.

“We have other providers in the pipeline to use the Hub, including working with Contengo to explore further opportunities for the two businesses,” Noble added.

Charles Southey, CTO at Contengo, commented: “We are very excited to be working with Origo, helping to make it easier for advice firms and their clients to get access to their on-platform data. Contengo’s mission is to bring about a metamorphosis in the way our customers use and benefit from technology to help them finally achieve the vision of seamless end-to-end automation so firms can focus entirely on those areas where they truly add value to clients.”

Earlier this month, Origo announced that the hub now has over 100 connections live. The connections span a range of essential industry services, including bulk valuations, bulk transaction history, remuneration, account opening and contract enquiry valuations. Bulk valuations have proven to be the most popular integration, however, with over 60 connections between market participants.

Fidelity Adviser Solutions was one of the latest firms to complete its integration with the Hub, providing greater and more direct access to client data. It followed research from the firm which revealed over a fifth (22%) of advisers want to improve business efficiencies.
