Synopsis: In this practical session, Nick will demonstrate how to research and select investment trusts using the free tools available on the AIC website as well as annual reports and factsheets. Taking two real investment trusts as examples, he will walk through a comparison of their strategy and objectives, performance, portfolios, discounts, gearing, charges, yield and other factors that are important to consider when researching investment trusts. The session will conclude with information on other research sources and a Q&A.
