The Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment has reported a growing number of women among its award winners.

The number of female winners reached 42% in 2026, up from 37% in 2025 and 38% in 2024.

A total of 130 students of finance from 21 countries were honoured at the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investments annual awards ceremony this month.

Outside of the UK, the top four countries represented are the UAE (13), Ghana (5), Kuwait (4) and India (3).

Mandy Gill, executive director of global learning at CISI, said: “It’s an honour to congratulate every one of our 130 global award winners. We must always remember these fantastic achievements are never produced in isolation and we recognise and applaud the critical support our candidates receive from their community, friends, family, carers, firms and teachers.

“A special commendation and mention for all the women achievers, whom we are delighted to celebrate as part of our own commitment to the Women In Finance Charter. We look forward to supporting all of our achievers in their future careers and lifelong learning journeys.”

Firms with the highest number of winners are Fidelity Investment Management (5 prizes), JPMorganChase (5 prizes), Securities & Commodities Authority (5 prizes), Ghana Investment and Securities Institute (3 prizes), Reigate Grammar School (3 prizes), Solihull School (3 prizes) and The Diversity Project (3 prizes).
