Twenty7tec and EV partner on risk suitability

13 April 2024

Advice tech provider Twenty7tec has announced a strategic partnership with EV, aimed at bolstering risk suitability capabilities for financial advisers, The collaboration gives advisers access to EV’s Attitude to Risk Questionnaire (ATRQ) directly through the Twenty7tec adviser platform.

The integration uses API technology to embed EV’s risk suitability functionality within the Twenty7tec platform, helping to streamline the advisory process and facilitate safe, secure data sharing, the firm said. By eliminating the need for manual rekeying of client information, advice firms can efficiently assess and address their clients’ risk profiles.

EV’s ATRQ features a comprehensive set of psychometric, behavioural, and knowledge-based questions, offering insights into clients’ risk preferences and tolerance levels. With clear illustrations and descriptive tools, advisers can engage in meaningful conversations with clients about investment risk, aligning with the consumer understanding outcome mandated by the Financial Conduct Authority’s (FCA’s) Consumer Duty.

Looking ahead, the partnership plans to introduce further integration enhancements in 2024 and 2025, including the rollout of EVPro. This planning solution covers the entire advice journey, from goal setting and risk assessment to investment selection, cash flow modelling, stress testing, and plan review.
