Outsourced paraplanning firm The Paraplanners has conducted an independent review of Dynamic Planner’s new cashflow system, declaring that it “stands out from some other cashflow systems”.
Colin Stewart, the at-retirement planning specialist for The Paraplanners, conducted the review of the recently launched system, using his experience of working with a range of cashflow planning tools, and focussing on the system from a ‘new user’ perspective.
To test the tool, the review created a test case for a client transitioning from work into retirement and decumulation, although it was pointed out that the tool is designed to work across planning needs, such as the accumulation phase or to invest for a specific purpose.
The review was conducted independently with no input from Dynamic Planner.
The 34-page report covers off five areas pertinent to the use and functionality of the tool and includes an example financial plan for a fictitious client demonstrating the cashflow output. The sections are:

- How we’d use the tool
- Integrations
Commenting on the conclusion of the review, Richard Allum, managing director of The Paraplanners said: “There is an increasing need for stochastic cashflow modelling in financial planning, and it’s become a vital part of decumulation planning.
