Technology Insight: The paraplanner focussed AI tool that makes a difference

27 January 2026

In this Technology Insight webinar we look at how AI technology can boost efficiencies and speed up the paraplanning process.

PP consulting editor Rob Kingsbury looks specifically at the ammonite AI Planbot platform, which has been vey much designed with paraplanning and report writing in mind, and how using AI software is benefitting Simpson Wood, particularly within the paraplanning department.

Rob’s guests are Caroline Duff, co-founder of ammonite, Sian Wood, Compliance and Operations Director of Simpson Wood, and Alexandra Curtis, Head of Client Servicing at Simpson Wood, a financial advice firm based in Huddersfield.

The discussion covers how Planbot works with advice firm’s existing templates to make the process as intuitive as possible, how AI can be used effectively in paraplanning, security of data, onboarding the software, how Simpson Wood used Planbot to tackle its backlog of annual review cases, the efficiencies using the technology has brought to the paraplanning and advice process and the benefits of that for the firm as a whole, and much more.

This is definitely a webinar to which all paraplanners will want to listen.
