Standards International has introduced Leadership Ambassadors to the Business and Operations Management Network (BOMS), which it says is “a powerhouse collective of professionals driving a global movement in business and operations management”.
The Business and Operations Management Network was launched in July 2024. The initiative is designed to further the career and personal development of professionals who support firms with administrative and operational duties, both within financial services and in other industries.
Designed to inspire, educate, and empower its members, it is a community focussed on sharing best practices, fostering leadership, and promoting career progression.
The network provides a suite of resources, events, and development opportunities tailored to the needs of this group of professionals.
The Leadership Ambassadors include global representatives from across the UK, Europe, Ireland, Australia and South Africa. They include operations managers from financial services to fintech, and beyond, in a growing community dedicated to ‘raising standards, embracing operational excellence, and transforming businesses worldwide’.
Their responsibilities include:
• Advocating for operational excellence within their respective industries.
• Driving awareness of the BOMS mission and its resources globally.
• Mentoring and supporting the next generation of business and operations professionals.
• Contributing thought leadership and innovative ideas to elevate standards and practices worldwide.
