PlannerPal has launched a pre-meeting AI tool for advisers, designed to streamline client meeting preparation.
The Pre-Meeting Prep Pack will compile key information ahead of time, with initial trials finding the tool can save advisers hours.
PlannerPal said for many firms, client meeting preparation can take between one and four hours and involves pulling information from multiple systems.
In comparison, the new tool generates a firm-defined, customised client pack, which brings together portfolio valuations, tax and allowance summaries, progress against goals, as well as key actions since the previous meeting, recent client activity and communications, and compliance status. It also provides a personalised meeting agenda.
Each pack is assembled from multiple sources, including CRM records, previous meeting notes, uploaded documents and valuation statements.
The fintech plans to extend the tool with calendar and email integrations, allowing advisers to automatically surface relevant client communications and upcoming meeting context.
Mark Whitcroft, CEO and founder of PlannerPal, said: “While there are numerous AI tools that can assist advisers with admin tasks after client meetings, advisers must prepare a host of materials in advance, which can often become a significant time burden.
“We’ve built the Pre-Meeting Prep Pack to help firms standardise how they prepare for client meetings, allowing advisers to reduce admin time and arrive at meetings better prepared.”
Whitcroft said the Pre-Meeting Prep Pack is the first in a series of product innovations it plans to bring to market this year.
