CISI Scotland is running a full day paraplanner event incorporating financial planning, paraplanning and investments, in conjunction with its main sponsors Trinity Bridge and Blackfinch.
The event take place on Thursday 28 August, from 09.00 to 17.30, at the Imaginex Yotel, 68-73 Queen Street, Edinburgh, and is accredited for 7 hours of CPD.
On the day delegates will have the opportunity to hear from some of the leading experts in financial planning, paraplanning and investments in the UK. In the morning, Tony Whincup, Head of Investment Specialists at TrinityBridge will provide a macro-economic overview which directly impacts your clients including the discussion on the geo-political perspective. Alan Whittle, Managing Director of Unburden Solutions will then help delegates to understand qualitative sustainability, with Giles Parkinson & Matthew Stanesby will talk through Steering through the Volatility.
In the afternoon,Jackie Lockie will discuss the Good the Bad and the Ugly, looking at the recent FCA Retirement Income reviews and how some cash flows ‘might get you into a bit of trouble’. This will be followed by a panel discussion with the team from Trinity Bridge, Alan and Jackie led by Tony.
The day will be rounded off with a conversation with Paul Devine, Blackfinch and Sarah Jane MacDonald, Wright, Johnston & Mackenzie discussing IHT Business Relief, with the final speaker, Steven Nelson, Lang Cat taking us through the Paraplanner State of the Nation.
