Paul Squirrell, Head of Retirement and Savings Development, Fidelity Adviser Solutions, picks his top technical articles from the firms’ website which were recently featured on the Editor’s Pick on the Professional Paraplanner daily emails.
Paul says: “There is no doubt that the changes to the Lifetime Allowance regime have been front and centre for paraplanners over the past few months, not least as there remain areas of the legislation that have yet to be resolved.
“The article I am going to highlight this month is titled ‘An overview of the LTA replacement legislation’, which is a quick 10 minute run through of the new regime which will give paraplanners an overview of the changes and what they may mean for clients.
“I’d also flag our Pensions Forum, where we discuss current pensions issues and paraplanners and advisers can ask questions directly.
“Both of these provides useful information on the changes and areas that paraplanners and advisers need to keep an eye on when financial planning.”
“And with the Labour Party’s first Budget imminent, paraplanners might want to view ‘Labour’s possible pension changes – what chance ill they happen’, and ‘Will labour change the State Pension Age’, for our thoughts on these issues.
