This autumn we are taking the Technical Insight Seminars to paraplanners from Bristol to Scotland. We start in Nottingham on 11 September. New venues we will be visiting from September to November are: Glasgow 18/9, Leeds 2/10 and Reading 23/10.
The seminars are paraplanner-only events and free for to attend. This year’s seminars are covering areas such as Capacity for Loss, pension regulation and tax, due diligence on SIPP and SSAS, behavioural investing, cash management, using FE Analytics, generating income in retirement, cashflow modelling, suitability report writing and peer-to-peer lending, among others*.
Nottingham delegates will be able to hear from Denton’s Pensions’ technical director Stephen McPhillips, who will be talking on developments in the SIPP and SSAS market and conducting due diligence on these pension wrappers.

Here’s what delegates are saying about this year’s events:
“The whole structure of the day is well thought out and I think of particular benefit is the break out into smaller groups to encourage greater interaction.”
“The content was superb and I learned a lot from it that I’ll be able to apply day to day.”
“This was a great, well organised event which I thoroughly enjoyed. I think that everybody attending would have learned something new. Well done and I look forward to next year’s event!”
“A really good event, this was my second year and I would come back again. Feel it was well tailored to paraplanners rather than advisers.”
