EdenTree will once again be joining us for our Technical Insight Seminars this year. The team will be delivering valuable insights on sustainable investing, an area paraplanners often tell us can be more challenging to research, and one that EdenTree has worked hard to support.
EdenTree recently presented at our Investment Committee Seminar in London – delivering an insightful session around SDR labels. Delegates gave some highly positive feedback noting the breakdown of the SDR labels as ‘really good.’
In February this year, EdenTree announced that they have achieved a fully SDR-labelled fund range, with all funds carrying either a Sustainability Impact or Sustainability Focus label.
Sustainability Impact funds invest in companies whose products, services or activities are designed to deliver positive impacts for people or planet.
These funds must demonstrate a clear impact thesis, intentionality and measurable contribution to real-world outcomes.
Sustainability Focus funds invest in assets that meet high standards of environmental or social sustainability through their operations, behaviours and long-term practices.
They should apply an evidence-based sustainability screen, demonstrate sustainability benefits and maintain stringent ongoing assessment.
