Suitability report writing solution Genovo has teamed up with ESG Accord to review the wording used in the software to describe sustainable investing.
Lee Coates and Elly Dowding launched ESG Accord in July 2023, an organisation that delivers support to advice firms transitioning to include ESG and sustainability in their advice processes.
Alongside consultancy and training and being a part of the FCA’s Disclosures and Labels advisory group, part of the ESG Accord offering is the Accord Initiative which is a provider backed free-to-access online resource to help advice firms.
Genovo has adopted ESG Accord’s feedback, changing descriptions of ESG and clarifying the supporting wording around client preferences, informed choice, disadvantages and risk warnings.
