The Professional Paraplanner Technical Insight Seminar team is looking forward to meeting paraplanners from the Oxford area at the Leonardo Royal Hotel tomorrow (19 June) from 8.30am
The event is fully CPD accredited and includes a fantastic lineup of speakers delivering expert knowledge in plenary and workshop (boardroom) settings.
Here’s some feedback from our most recent Seminar in London:
“Excellent speakers and range of topics”
“I found this year was even better than last year”
“Your events are the best, full of very useful knowledge, so well organised”
In Oxford you’ll hear from:
Les Cameron, M&G Wealth’s Head of Technical, who will be bringing his technical knowledge and experience to bear on why you need to get your clients’ tax planning in order, in particular post LTA abolition.
He will be joined on the day by four more expert speakers covering:
MPAA, TAA and carry forward calculations in respect of SIPPs, as well as in-specie transfers, commercial property, and succession planning.
Tax planning in the new pension savings landscape
Use of discretionary trusts for IHT, with some useful tips on how to reduce IHT charges.
The current high level of concentration within equity markets and the effect on clients’ active and passive investment performance.
This is what other paraplanners are saying about this year’s Technical Insight Seminars
“I just wanted to email to say that yesterday’s event was fantastic, and I came away with so much more knowledge and understanding of the more complex areas covered yesterday by the guest speakers. It’s also great to see an event targeted to paraplanners specifically.”
“I’d like to thank all at Professional Paraplanner and the guest speakers for an excellent day at the Crown Plaza in Birmingham yesterday. It was very informative and engaging throughout.”
“I wanted to say a big thank you for the event in Exeter last week. It was really enjoyable and informative and I wanted to say a big thank you to you and all involved for the work in arranging it. I’m looking forward to next year’s event already!”
