Professional Paraplanner is delighted to announce Future Adviser our new event for paraplanners, taking place on 1 October 2025.
This is first in an intended series of events aimed at helping paraplanners who want to become financial advisers/planners or who want simply to know more about how to make the transition, with a full-on day of insights, guidance and advice from a range of expert speakers.
While Paraplanning is firmly established as a career in its own right within financial planning, Professional Paraplanner’s research shows that a significant percentage of paraplanners have either set their sights on becoming a financial planner or want to know more about how to transition into the role.
We have brought together a fantastic group of presenters to cover key aspects of making the change including:
• hearing from paraplanners who have made the leap
• insights into speaking with confidence
• using listening techniques to help truly understand clients
• building a client bank from scratch
• what you need to do beyond having the exams to help attract clients to you.
There will also be a peer-to-peer session where we will tackle some of the issues you may be experiencing.
See below for the agenda and more on our expert speakers.
Huge thanks go to Fidelity Adviser Solutions for sponsoring the event and hosting it in their London offices.
Fidelity has long been a significant supporter of the paraplanning community, speaking at the Professional Paraplanner Technical Insight Seminars, contributing to the website, presenting webinars and hosting our bi-annual Team Leader Seminars.
Talking to Professional Paraplanner about hosting the event, Martin Rooks, Head of Advisory and MNC Marketing, said: “Fidelity is delighted to further support the paraplanning community by giving paraplanners who want to become financial planners the opportunity to attend an event aimed specifically at them and their needs. The financial planner community has an aging demographic and it is vitally important that we encourage new talent into the industry to become financial planners, as well as continuing to support paraplanners in the essential work that they do. We are very much looking forward to hosting the Future Adviser Seminar on 1 October.”
How to register: The inaugural Seminar is now on a wait list but if you are interested in attending a Future Adviser Seminar in coming months, please do register to be on the priority booking list.
