Apricity, the compliance arm of the Verve Group, has launched a new guide to help financial advisers who want to become directly authorised.
The ‘Going It Alone’ service supports individuals and firms with their application to the Financial Conduct Authority to become directly authorised (DA).
The firm said it is “often inundated with questions from individuals who are considering making the (what can feel like a major) leap into the world of direct authorisation to help them establish the pros and cons of being directly authorised.
“It goes without saying that any sort of regulatory application is going to attract a high degree of scrutiny, but we are well placed to advise individuals and firms on their likely success of an application to the FCA.”
The guide looks to explain some of the considerations financial advisers should consider before embarking on the directly authorised journey.
