James says: In 2022 we witnessed a confluence of shocks, a year that consisted of several headwinds including geopolitical issues, deglobalisation, high inflation, tightening monetary policy, fiscal constraints, and slowing growth. The impact of the events that have unfolded last year will be felt long into the next one. From a financial perspective, a chief change has been the shift in monetary regime, from one supportive of global markets to one with a focus on taming inflation.
With ongoing market volatility, we aim to highlight how investors can navigate their way through these choppy waters and will focus on some of the trends expected to dominate the markets in 2023.
