In 2021, out of main Brexit negotiations and in a financial environment where more and more investors look to use their money responsibly and sustainably, the UK equity markets could once again be full of opportunity.
To discuss these opportunities, EdenTree’s UK equities Fund Managers, Phil Harris and Ketan Patel, held a UK equity masterclass with AssetTV in which they discussed their views on UK Equity markets in 2021, why they believe ‘there hasn’t been a better time to invest in the UK’ and the opportunities presented by investing responsibly.
Phil and Ketan also explored how to create a responsible portfolio in the UK equity space. In particular, they looked at the importance of thorough bottom-up analysis in ensuring quality stock selection, why active management is key for any responsible and sustainable fund manager, and why they believe the outlook is bright for UK equities after being relatively unloved in recent years.
