The Paraplanner Club, the UK’s free mentoring community dedicated to supporting current and aspiring paraplanners, has partnered with Fundment to transition to PushFar – a mentoring software connecting thousands of mentors and mentees across the UK.
Following a recent article calling for new mentors, the latest development at The Paraplanning Club is brilliant news to support the profession’s development.
Launched in 2021, and sponsored by Professional Paraplanner, The Paraplanner Club empowers current and aspiring paraplanners to excel through expert mentoring.
Whether navigating exam preparation, career progression, interview techniques, or building an outsourced business, the programme provides the structured guidance professionals need to succeed.
Through Fundment’s sponsorship and the move to PushFar, The Paraplanner Club will be able to scale its impact, improve mentor–mentee matching, and deliver a more structured and accessible mentoring experience for participants across the UK.
Sian Davies Cole, Co-Founder of The Paraplanner Club, said: “Our mission has always been simple – to support anyone who wants to become an awesome paraplanner.
“Since launching in 2021, we’ve seen first-hand how powerful mentoring can be in building confidence, technical capability, and career direction.
“Partnering with Fundment and moving to PushFar allows us to reach more people, strengthen the mentoring experience, and continue raising standards across the paraplanning profession.”
Ola Abdul, CEO of Fundment, commented: “Paraplanners play a critical role in delivering high-quality financial planning, yet structured development and mentoring are not always easily accessible.
“We are proud to support The Paraplanner Club in expanding this important initiative. By enabling the programme on PushFar, we hope to help more paraplanners develop their skills, progress their careers, and strengthen the wider profession.”
The Paraplanner Club is calling on financial planning firms across the UK to encourage paraplanners and aspiring paraplanners within their teams to apply for mentoring.
The organisation is also inviting experienced paraplanners and industry professionals who are passionate about supporting the next generation to volunteer as mentors.
Applications for both mentors and mentees are now open, apply by visiting here: The Paraplanner Club

Mentees were asked three questions, to help build a picture of just how much The Paraplanner Club has supported them in their development and day-to-day work as a paraplanner.
They were asked:
- How has being mentored through The Paraplanner Club benefited you in your role or day‑to‑day work as a paraplanner?
- Would you recommend The Paraplanner Club to other paraplanners, and if so, what would you tell them about your experience?
- What difference has the mentoring made to your progression, confidence, or future career plans within financial planning/paraplanning?

Being mentored through The Paraplanner Club has made a real difference to both my role and my day-to-day work.
It’s helped me build confidence in myself, which has ultimately given me the push I needed to take the leap and set up my own outsourced paraplanning firm.
I was quite intentional about finding a mentor who had already done what I’m aiming to do, so having someone I can speak to who genuinely understands the journey I’m on has been invaluable.
I would absolutely recommend The Paraplanner Club to other paraplanners. It can feel a bit daunting or unfamiliar at first, depending on what’s led you to seek out a mentor, but that quickly fades. M
My sessions with Siân have been fantastic – they’ve helped me feel more at ease having open, professional conversations about my development and the next stage of my career that I’m currently stepping into.
It’s also been really valuable having a space to talk things through openly and to get practical guidance from lived experiences I can actually act on. It’s not a one-size-fits-all approach – it’s completely tailored, which makes a big difference.
I’m at a significant stage of progression at the moment. Looking back, I feel like I haven’t always pushed myself or fully pursued the areas of paraplanning I enjoy most.
Having a mentor to talk through my ideas, goals, and focus areas has made a huge difference. The biggest change I’ve noticed is that I trust myself more.
I think that’s something many of us experience at some point in our careers, and for me, mentoring has been key in helping me move towards a more confident, assured version of myself.

The Paraplanner Club has helped me develop my career through the expertise and experience of my mentor, Sian. It has helped me identify areas to focus on, areas where I can continue to improve, and areas I may wish to specialise in in the future.
Having regular discussions with someone outside of my organisation has given me a broader perspective on the profession and helped me develop greater confidence in my abilities and future career direction.
I would definitely recommend The Paraplanner Club to anyone looking for external guidance and support with their career. The mentoring has helped me identify and set clear professional goals and take practical steps towards achieving them.
The mentoring has helped to build my confidence in both my current role and my long-term career development.
It has also helped me better understand the different opportunities available within paraplanning and financial planning, while keeping me focused on my current goals of achieving Chartered status and developing my knowledge of mortgage and protection advice.
As a result, I feel more confident in my career direction and future progression – helping to keep me on track and focused on achieving my goals.

Sian’s mentoring clarified which was MY right path to become a Paraplanner. I was also provided with useful resources to keep up to date with news and events in the industry.
I like that the platform is gamified and uses xp points to get you to your goals.
The Paraplanner Club helped me stablish a plan and manage expectations which can build rapidly when dealing with future job prospects.
