The Regnan Sustainable Water and Waste Fund is celebrating its third anniversary this month, with the fund having returned 20.7% from inception.
Managed by Bertrand Lecourt, senior fund manager, and Saurabh Sharma, fund manager, the fund invests in companies that provide solutions to global water- and or waste-related challenges.
The 20.7% return for investors places it in the highest decile among its peers since its inception in September 2021.
Lecourt says: “We’re incredibly proud of the progress we’ve made in investing in companies that are addressing the critical global challenges related to water and waste management. We’ve proven the fund’s value as a global diversifier in an environment where tech has dominated the market.”
Sharma adds: “The past three years have seen periods of volatility and sector rotations. Our fund has navigated through these challenges effectively and consistently which is a testament to our disciplined investment process. As we look ahead, the importance of investing in the water and waste infrastructure is more evident than ever. We remain committed to driving positive change in the water and waste sectors, fostering sustainable economies, and delivering consistent returns for our investors.”
