Plannr Technologies has launched to the advisory market, vowing to “shake up the market” which has been heavily dominated by Intelliflo, IRESS and Time4Advice over the past 20 years..
The back office provider has been building and developing its product in conjunction with 70 advisers over the past 12 months.
Gareth Thompson, CEO of Plannr, said: “We understand that this is a highly competitive market but hope to do something very different through the benefit of a fresh perspective.”
Thompson said Plannr is built on state-of-the-art technology by highly-skilled developers.
“We are technology and workflow experts who help advisers work smarter through a truly mobile solution, automation engines and customisable interfaces. I think this is a reflection of our times. Previously, you built technology in a vacuum. Today, modern technology is designed and built simultaneously with a constant feedback loop and short sprint cycles of improvements. Technology should be a living, breathing collaboration between users and creators.”
Plannr said that financial planners need a “modern solution” that is flexible enough to be constantly improved and should help users to build their business and processes with agility and speed. To date, Plannr has released 100 improvements per month on average, with a public development roadmap enabling users to see what is coming next.

The new software is available for advisers to use for £140 per licence per month. Plannr will be holding a series of webinars, demonstrating Plannr to interested advisers over the next few months.
