New editor for Professional Paraplanner

16 January 2026

By Rob Kingsbury, Editor, Professional Paraplanner

Today we are announcing some exciting news here at Professional Paraplanner, as we expand the publication with a new editor.

After 12 years at the helm of Professional Paraplanner and having seen it grow from a conversation over lunch to a thriving publication, with a UK-wide events programme, and our much celebrated annual Awards, I feel now is the right time to hand the reins over to a new editor who can take PP forward and to new heights.

I am delighted to tell you that the new editor is Natalie Dawes. Formerly a paraplanner herself, many of you will know her for her sterling work at Bespoke Training Solutions (BTS). Natalie has been touring the country with us on the Technical Insight Seminars for a number of years, as well as writing for the publication, so we have got to know her very well and that she is the perfect fit for the journey ahead.

Natalie takes over the role from Monday, 19 January and will be introducing herself to you then.

I will be stepping into the role of consulting editor, working on projects and the 10th anniversary of our annual Paraplanner Awards – a big one for us!

Thank you to all the paraplanners I have worked with over the 12 years, who gave up their time in the early days to explain paraplanning to me, and who since have been interviewed for the publication and provided articles, comment, filled in our parameters surveys and entered our awards – I can genuinely say that being editor of Professional Paraplanner has been my favourite and most enjoyable role to date and that in large part is because paraplanners are just very nice people to deal with. So thank you again.

Having planned this move for some time, and with a raft of new ideas coming into play, I am very excited by what the future holds for Professional Paraplanner and the ways the publication can continue to help support the paraplanning community.
