CISI Paraplanner of the Year announced
1 October 2019
Kat Mock ACSI, founder of Unity Paraplanning, has scooped this year’s CISI Paraplanner of the Year Award.
The award was presented at the Institute’s annual financial planning dinner by Jacqueline Wilkins, director of Intermediary Business, JUST.
The award process required candidates to answer a technical questionnaire and those with the highest scores were then asked to undertake a financial plan.
The plans were marked by the judges and the top two candidates were called for interview in front of the judging panel.
Commenting the judges described Kat as “a person who has demonstrated extensive experience and depth of knowledge. Someone who shows such positivity to the paraplanning profession and who regularly goes above and beyond to help others and demonstrates a commitment to the wider profession.”
Kat established Unity Paraplanning in April 2019 after gaining her experience both as an outsourced paraplanner and in-house at firms.
She was the Professional Paraplanner cover star in the May 2019 issue.
Highly Commended for the CISI award was Samantha Hawken paraplanner with bdb based in Harrogate.
