This year we look forward to announcing the winners in person again, directly after our London Technical Insight Seminar on 9 June.
We are also pleased to announce that once again the sponsor of the Professional Paraplanner Awards is Parmenion.
There are six paraplanner and administrator awards to enter. Plus you can show which providers you value for their service by nominating them for one of our Provider Awards. Who wins the Provider Awards is entirely determined by paraplanner nominations, so taking the time to vote can help set the bar for providers across the industry.

Two new awards for 2022
We are delighted to be introducing two new awards this year. First is the Paraplanner Team Leader of the Year – which recognises the growing number of paraplanners promoted into Head of Paraplanning or Paraplanning Manager roles within their firms.
The second is the Best ESG Investment Solution Provider, to mark the growing importance of ESG/responsible/sustainable investment solutions in the financial advice market.
Closing date for 2022 entries and nominations is: Thursday 21 April 2022.
Awards interviews will be held the week commencing 2 May.

HOW TO ENTER AND NOMINATE
- PROVIDER AWARDS
Every paraplanner/administrator reader registered to receive Professional Paraplanner will be sent an email with the link to the nomination and entry form. Checks will be in place to ensure only our paraplanner/administrator readers take part in the nomination process.
- PARAPLANNER/ADMINISTRATOR AWARDS.
There are six paraplanner/administrator awards to enter:
- The Paraplanner of the Year Award
The award is open to paraplanners working in-house for financial planning/advice/discretionary firms. Entry is by self-nomination. You will need to write an essay (max 500 words) on a set topic, which will be sent to you. Shortlisted candidates will be contacted for a short interview.
- Paraplanning Team of the Year
The award is open to all paraplanner teams. Entry is by self-nomination. You will be asked to write an essay (max 500 words) on a set topic, which will be sent to you. Shortlisted candidates will be contacted for a short interview.
- Paraplanning Team Leader of the Year
The award is open to all paraplanner team leaders. Entry is by self-nomination. You will be asked to write an essay (max 500 words) on a set topic. Shortlisted candidates will be contacted for a short interview.
- Outsourced Paraplanner of the Year
The award is open to outsourced and freelance paraplanners. Entry is by self-nomination. You will need to write an essay (max 500 words) on a set topic, which will be sent to you Shortlisted candidates will be contacted for a short interview.
- New Paraplanner of the Year
The award is open to those who have been in a paraplanning role for less than two years. Entry is by self-nomination. You will need to write an essay (max 500 words) on a set topic, which will be sent to you. Shortlisted candidates will be contacted for a short interview.
- Administrator of the Year
This year, we are accepting self-nominations from administrators. You will need to write a short statement supporting your entry.
JUDGING
The winners of the Provider Awards in each category will be the companies that achieve the highest number of nominations/best rating from paraplanners. In the event of a tie, the comments accompanying the nominations made by paraplanners will be used to identify the winner.
The winners of the Paraplanner Awards will be determined by a panel of judges drawn from the industry.
For all the awards, Professional Paraplanner’s Editor is the head judge, whose decision will be final.
