CashCalc launches App for comms and data sharing

26 July 2021

Cashflow software provider CashCalc has launched an app to enable clients to communicate with their adviser on the go.

The Newport-based firm said the CashCalc app allows clients to log into their secure portal and communicate and share information with their adviser through their smartphone or tablet.

Between January and June, one in three (29%) logins made by clients to their advisers’ portal were through either a smartphone or tablet.

Ray Adams, founder of CashCalc, said: “Mobile usage among clients is on the rise and we anticipate this to continue to increase. The CashCalc app will offer both financial advisers and their clients an incredibly convenient way to securely communicate and share information with each other.

“For example, if an adviser sends their client a secure message, they’ll receive an instant notification on their smartphone or tablet and have the option to respond immediately.”

The app can be downloaded for free on the Apple app store and Google Play Store.

CashCalc said it was also considering the possibility of allowing advisers to have their own branded favicon on both the Apple app store and Google Play store under their company name at a cost of £25 plus VAT per month but was awaiting advisers to register their interest.

The launch of the CashCalc app follows the acquisition of the firm by FE fundinfo in May 2021.

Earlier this month, CashCalc announced that advisers can now navigate from their CashCalc account to their FE Analytics account via a ‘quick access’ button.
