BMO launches Educational Hub and Seminars
3 November 2019
In the rapidly changing world of financial planning at BMO Global Asset Management we are acutely aware of the need for good quality technical information to help paraplanners and financial advisers keep abreast of the issues affecting their clients’ investments, so they can be fully informed and able to make the best possible decisions.
BMO Global Asset Management has launched a new initiative – BMO Adviser Edge – an educational hub aimed at helping all those involved in the financial advice process to ensure they are up-to-date and to increase their knowledge and skills.
This new service offers technical insights on topical issues of importance to all advice professionals. It includes educational seminars as well as bespoke training at the individual firm level, providing expert guidance on tax rules and financial regulation, as well as useful insight into areas such as pensions and offshore planning, IHT, Trust and retirement planning. Our aim is to offer expert advice wherever it’s needed.
Our Adviser Edge: On the Road series of seminars runs between 26 November and 5 December at locations around the country and gives you the opportunity to engage with our technical experts and ask questions and get the advice you need.
The inaugural events will focus on ‘Financial Planning with trusts’. Our two highly qualified speakers will address the use of trusts within the financial planning process, plus the upcoming requirement to incorporate ESG considerations into client suitability assessments. The event provides for two hours of structured CPD.
