We are just a few weeks away from our next Team Leader day in London. New speakers and a refreshed programme – here’s what you can expect at this dedicated event in London on 12 November.
Our dedicated Professional Paraplanner Team Leader events take place twice a year, bringing together paraplanning leaders from across the profession for a day of learning, discussion and peer support.
Whether you’re an experienced leader or new to the role, the event creates space to discuss the realities of leading a paraplanning team with others facing similar challenges. The focus is firmly on practical ideas that can be applied in the workplace.
A fresh programme for November
This November’s London event features a blend of familiar faces and new speakers, all selected to help team leaders strengthen their leadership skills and navigate the realities of managing people.
Leadership through symbolic actions
We have put together a fresh new programme, albeit for those of you that have attended our Team Leader days before, you can also expect some familiarity, including one of our highly commended speakers. – Pav Kehla.
A regular speaker at our Team Leader events, Pav has consistently received excellent feedback from delegates.
Bringing more than 30 years’ experience in financial services across customer service, operational excellence and business transformation, her session will explore leadership through symbolic actions and the influence leaders can have through the behaviours they demonstrate every day.
New for November 2026
We’re also excited to introduce a number of new speakers and topics to the programme.
Fresh from winning Team Leader of the Year at the 10th anniversary Professional Paraplanner Awards, Rebecca Montandon will share her leadership journey, discussing the transition from colleague to leader, how she developed her team and the steps she has taken to raise its profile within the wider business.
We’ll also hear from:
- Coach – Holly Ewers, on creating psychological safety within teams.
- Damian Davies from The Timebank, exploring why people with the best intentions can become divided despite working towards the same objective.
- And Equilibrium Financial Planning’s Lucy Woolrich, discussing how a coaching culture can support development and engagement.
Professional Paraplanner editor Natalie Dawes will also host an AI-focused discussion, further details will be announced soon.
Continue to learn from your peers
One aspect of our Team Leader event that delegates consistently tell us they value is the opportunity to learn from one another.
That’s why peer discussion remains a key part of the programme.
Alongside the speaker sessions, there will be smaller, group sessions that are intended to give delegates time to explore more of the day-to-day.
Using a case study built around situations raised when you register, we’ll encourage honest conversation and practical problem-solving.
