SIPP provider launches new client portal

SIPP provider Curtis Banks has launched a new client portal to give advisers and clients access to their data ‘on the go’.

The new portal is designed to complement Curtis Banks’ latest SIPP product, Your Future SIPP, launched earlier this year. The SIPP was introduced to replace the group’s previous range of products, bringing together Curtis Banks and Suffolk Life SIPPs into one proposition.

Commenting on the launch of the portal, Curtis Banks said each user’s portal system experience will be automatically customised to suit their plan arrangements.

Features of the portal include the ability to view all existing plans; an investment summary covering all investment firms linked to the SIPP as well as a list of property, bank accounts and borrowing; bank transactions; contributions; transfers; drawdown and income.

Greg Kingston, group communications director, Curtis Banks (pictured), said: “This is an adviser-led delivery, meaning we have worked with advisers to ensure it covers their clients’ wants and needs, allowing them to access information directly.

“Furthermore, users are able to drill down into individual investment holdings, no matter which investment partner is used. It creates transparency between the adviser and client and, through increased efficiency, enhances the adviser and client relationship.”

Kevin Forbes, partner, strategic solutions at Curtis Banks added that the new portal had “vastly improved” the way in which the group interacts with clients, through providing them with a sense of autonomy while also protecting them through limiting the action that can be taken without speaking to an adviser first.
