6 February 2026

The Verve Foundation is celebrating a milestone year, marked by significant advancements in how it supports advisers, attracts new talent into financial services, and strengthens its ability to create lasting industry impact.

Over the past year, the Foundation has focused on building strong foundations for the future while expanding the reach and quality of its work across the profession.

One of the most visible developments has been the launch of its new website, www.vervefoundation.co.uk, providing a central hub to showcase the impact achieved to date and make it easier for individuals and firms to engage with its work. The platform highlights the Foundation’s mission, progress, and the growing community helping to drive positive change in financial services.

The Foundation has also refreshed its adviser incubators, evolving the support available to better guide advisers through their business journey, from first researching starting their own business, right through to growing and scaling their business for success.

Alongside this, the Foundation has enhanced its new talent programmes, enabling it to bring hundreds more people into financial services. By widening access and strengthening development pathways, the not-for-profit hopes to make it even easier to attract more people to finance and find them roles to help them kickstart their new careers.

Internally, the year has also seen the Foundation rebuild its team, creating a stronger structure to support its expanding activity and long-term ambitions. This renewed focus on people and capability positions the organisation for its next stage of growth.

Looking ahead, the Foundation is already working on additional initiatives, including enhanced recruitment support and the launch of a new podcast designed to share stories of those who have already benefited by the work it does, as well as insights from across the industry.

Cathi Harrison, CEO of the Verve Foundation, said:
“I’m incredibly proud of the impact we’ve had so far and the progress we’ve made this year. We continue to be the only, independent, not-for-profit, that is focused entirely altruistically on practically supporting and enhancing the financial services sector What’s especially exciting is the number of people across the industry who are backing what we do – their support makes all of this possible. We’re looking forward to building on this impact even further in the months ahead.”

As the Verve Foundation continues to grow, its focus remains clear: supporting people, strengthening businesses, and helping shape a more inclusive and sustainable future for financial services.
