Tax and trusts speakers confirmed for Autumn Technical Insight Seminars
26 July 2017
We are delighted to announce that our Edinburgh Technical Insight Seminar, as well as those in Manchester and Bristol, will feature analysis of the Income Tax treatment of trusts from the technical consultants of Utmost Wealth, John Haley (pictured) and Barry Foster.
In addition, John and Barry will explain some of the administrative issues that trustees must deal with and consider, using a case study, how to simplify trustee administration whilst satisfying their duties and responsibilities.
Barry Foster has been in financial services since 1997 and has held roles as a Financial Adviser and Business Development Manager before taking a more technical based route. He delivers workshops, seminars and technical assistance to financial advisers covering tax, trusts and pensions. Barry has achieved Chartered Financial Planner status and Fellow of the Personal Finance Society, as well as holding the Investment Management Certificate (IMC), the STEP Diploma and STEP Certificate in Financial Services.
John Haley (pictured above at our London Technical Insight Seminar) has been in financial services since 1990. He is a Fellow of both the Personal Finance Society and the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investments, as well as being a Chartered and Certified Financial Planner. In addition, he is also an affiliate member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners and gained a Master’s degree in Financial Planning & Business Management in 2015.
Each of our events provides a mix of plenary sessions and smaller workshops designed to give you the opportunity to obtain the maximum value out of the day.
