PlanPlus Global launches suitability platform
3 October 2018
Software producer PlanPlus Global has launched a suitability platform, providing advisers with a suitability score to ensure clients’ personal risk profiles map to their chosen portfolios.
PlanPlus Global is the result of a decade-long collaboration between FinaMetrica Pty Ltd and PlanPlus Inc, which culminated in a merger in August 2017.
Subscribers to the new platform SuitabilityPro will have access to FinaMetrica Profiler, a psychometric risk profiling solution; Pro Planner, a multi-lingual financial planning software and Pro Tracker, a continuous monitoring of portfolios.
Adviser firms can purchase SuitabilityPro as a complete suite or in modules to enable integration with other risk profiling or planning tools.
Shawn Brayman, CEO, PlanPlus Global (pictured), said: “On the first anniversary of our merger we are delighted to launch our brand new identity and details of our software suite. Our clients are increasingly being asked by regulators to ‘prove’ they have applied their knowledge, experience and professional judgement in selecting investments that are in the best interests of their clients. The answer has evolved into our new suitability platform.”
Paul Resnik, executive director, PlanPlus Global, commented: “It is our overall belief that the issue of suitability will become increasingly important and of widespread interest among countries where financial planning and investment advisory industries are established.”
