Paraplanner of the Year shortlist announced
31 May 2017
Professional Paraplanner is hosting its first Annual awards on 7 June 2017. The short-list for the Paraplanner of the Year has been decided and we publish it today.
Chair of the judges, Professional Paraplanner editor Rob Kingsbury said: “Thank you to every one who entered our inaugural awards. The response was fantastic. We received many entries, with a very high quality of entry all round.
“Making the final decision on the shortlist was an extremely tough one, in particular as the shortlist was limited to four candidates. However, after much deliberation we made our decision.
The shortlist for the Paraplanner of the Year award is:
James Hambro & Partners LLP
The Aspire Partnership
HFM Columbus Wealth Management
Cooper Parry Wealth
The winner of the award will be announced on 7 June 2017, immediately following our Technical Insight Seminar.
The Paraplanner Team of the Year award will also be announced on the day, alongside the Personality of the Year and the winners of the product and service provider awards, which were decided by the nominations of paraplanners across the UK.
We will be announcing the winners on this website and there will be coverage of the awards in the July issue of Professional Paraplanner.
We would like to thank Seven Investment Management, who are sponsoring the Paraplanner of the Year and the Paraplanner Team of the Year awards.
Jamie Evans, Business Development Manager, 7IM said: “As Paraplanners continue to play a key role in the overall advice process, whether working within a Financial Planning firm or offering outsourcing services, we are pleased that the role is getting the recognition it deserves.
“7IM firmly believe that Paraplanners are brilliantly placed to handle some of the more technical and research aspects of financial planning and, perhaps even more significantly, clearly represent the future of financial advice. We have been keen supporters of Paraplanners for some years, offering regular support and events up to, and including, this year. We are delighted to be sponsoring the inaugural Professional Paraplanner awards and look forward to seeing many familiar faces there!”
