Could you excel in this role?

Due to continued growth, we are searching for a Paraplanner to help support the Financial Planners in research, analysis and preparation of client financial plans and suitability reports. You will manage the presentation of technical data, prepare documentation to support Planner recommendations and justify the provider and product recommended.

The team have succeeded by creating strong, long term relationships with each other. The ‘family feel’ which is often lost within a corporate company is fully engrained into the team. When they are not working collaboratively to ensure the best client outcomes, they are challenging each other in regular virtual games.

Do you have what it takes?

  • Proven experience in a paraplanning or technical role gained within an advisory practice
  • Qualified to a minimum of diploma standard
  • Overall knowledge of key areas of financial planning and advice
  • The ability to understand and interpret a cash flow forecast and summarise the key points
  • The ability to calculate figures and compile data
  • An understanding of writing styles, grammar, punctuation, avoidance of jargon and an understanding of the audience
  • The ability to interpret complex planning into clear and concise reports
  • Excellent word and excel skills
  • Understand and apply FCA suitability requirements

This is a permanent role with full time hours and is currently a remote position, however, will be predominantly office based once this is feasible.
