Join us at our Cardiff Technical Insight Seminar for a full CPD-accredited programme of technical insight and personal development techniques.
You’ll hear from the technical team at M&G, taking a deep dive into how paraplanners can build an effective IHT plan for their clients, taking into account that there is now a new asset in the mix – pensions – and where gifting, trusts and business relief etc now sit in the tactical hierarchy.
Under his session title of The Family Tree, Gregor Sked Senior Protection Technical Manager at Royal London, will be helping paraplanners to understand the intergenerational wealth planning opportunity and how protection products fit with a client’s desire to pass on their wealth through the generations, and the technical know-how paraplanners must have to facilitate this.
Sam Patterson, Head of Delivery at Equilibrium and Director of The Paraplanner Club, will be take a practical look at that tricky balance of writing suitability reports that clients can engage with and that also meet the needs of firms/networks’ compliance teams.
Also on the line up are Bespoke Training Solutions, who always bring something fresh and interesting to our events, New presenter Puma Investments will be tackling the changes to CGT and the use of tax efficient investments to help optimise clients’ tax planning, and another new presenter for this year’s events, Orbis Investments, will look at how the many uncertainties in the markets at present (including Trump 2.0) may be cause to look at a different recipe for investment success for clients.
You can expect a day full of useful insight and practical take-aways you can use with your clients to help deliver better outcomes for them now and in the long term.
