Oxford Risk has launched The Art of behavioural Investing, a course aimed at increasing financial literacy and supporting investor outcomes.
The course has been designed in collaboration with professional learning platform 42Courses. The CPD-certified online course is a resource for advisers and financial institutions looking to support their clients’ behavioural journey.
Led by Dr Greg B Davies, Head of Behavioural Finance at Oxford Risk, the course gives firms a practical, scalable way to support clients through the emotional journey of investing — from getting invested, to staying invested, to avoiding reactive mistakes under pressure.
The course includes:
- 35 short, practical lessons with CPD certification
- Tools for building emotional confidence in clients
- A framework for helping clients create their own Investing Constitution
- Techniques including pre-commitment strategies, Play Pots, pause points, and portfolio framing
- Interview insights from Carl Richards, Daniel Crosby, and other global experts in behavioural finance
The content is built around ‘four golden rules’, the company says: Create a Safety Net, Put the Rest to Work, Diversify, and Leave It Alone. This, it adds, helps support firms in meeting regulatory obligations while improving long-term outcomes for clients.
Oxford Risk says the course is ‘ideal for’:
- Adviser onboarding and professional development
- Boosting client financial literacy
- Re-engaging cash clients
- Strengthening suitability and advice frameworks
