Apricity Compliance revamps support and adds 90-days free access offer

7 April 2020

Apricity Compliance has revamped its compliance support system and is offering 90-days free access to new users, to enable them to adapt to working remotely.

In addition the firm has created a range of additional resources, including Suitability Report templates and Covid-19 support for existing users.

Director Kim Binks (pictured) said: “Speaking to firms, most of them have managed to figure out the day to day logistics of working from home, but now are thinking longer term, and how they manage their team and advice proposition this way.

“It’s pretty clear that technology will play a big part in all of our working lives going forward, and the Apricity system allows business owners and supervisors to have full compliance oversight of their advisers and team, at the touch of a button. We wanted more firms to be able to access this benefit to make remote working a little bit easier for them, and so are allowing them 90-day access for free.”

The trial gives users access to all online training and testing (including whistleblowing, GDPR and complaints handling), as well as CPD recording and adviser KPIs.  This remote access, enables compliance oversight to ensure everyone in the firm is remaining up to date with their regulatory requirements, even when not in the office.

Binks said existing Apricity users would have access to the Knowledge Base, which has been revamped, and includes a Covid-19 hub and a Future Focus hub, “giving advisers access to resources to help develop their businesses for the new world”.

Apricity owner, Cathi Harrison, said: “Apricity was originally built with the future in mind; we anticipated a world where more elements of the advice process, including regulation, would need to be just as accessible, and even more efficient, through technology. The current crisis has accelerated that development in financial services, and we’re hoping the software we’ve built can help provide peace of mind to firms during difficult times”.

Apricity is hosting a webinar looking at the future of advice and what firms might look like on 17th April, which is free to join.
