Aegon is rolling out its digital pensions app to over 200,000 additional workplace pension members.
The firm said the move to extend access to its app Mylo follows strong engagement since the launch of the app last year, with members making more than 50,000 pension consolidation requests and completing over 40,000 beneficiary nominations.
Mylo combines digital guidance with personalised support and practical tools to help workplace pension savers manage their retirement savings.
Aegon said the rollout will take place throughout July across all participating schemes.
Antonia Balaam, head of master trust at Aegon, said: “We’re thrilled to bring Mylo to Aegon Master Trust members following the positive response we’ve seen since launch.
“This rollout extends the reach of Mylo to over 200,000 additional members, giving more people access to the same intuitive digital experience that’s already helping workplace pension savers engage with their retirement savings.
“A key feature of this rollout is ensuring members benefit from a Mylo experience regardless of the platform their pension is administered on. This enables people to access and manage their pension through a single, seamless experience.”
Balaam said the announcement reinforces Aegon’s “longer-term commitment to making pension engagement more accessible” to workplace savers across the UK.
