10 May 2018
CISI has announced that Dr Ed Coats, who describes himself as a part-time adventurer and obstetrician (at Royal United Bath Hospital), will be hosting this year’s conference programme.
Dr Coats (pictured), a motivational speaker, will talk on how exploring feelings, opening up to change, managing criticism and agreeing short-term goals can help us withstand extreme pressure and rise to meet our challenges.
The CISI Paraplanner Conference 2018, takes place on 12-13 June at the Jurys Inn Hinckley Island, and offers 8.5 structured CPD hours for full attendance at the conference.
The conference includes over 10 speakers, featuring motivational and technical sessions, a three-course dinner, and a #paraconf selfie challenge with a chance to win an Amazon Echo.
Paraplanners wanting to book a place at the conference can do so HERE.
Ed Coats joined Ben Fogle and James Cracknell on a race to the South Pole in 2009 and has swum the English Channel, been on expeditions to the North Pole, and as part of the Extreme Classroom project, has taken special educational needs children to Tanzania.
